Latest Navitas Agent Perception Report reveals view of Australia as a study destination

19th Nov, 2021   Feature story:

We are delighted to share our most recent Navitas Agent Perception article, which considers how agents from different regions are tailoring their advice according to specific local circumstances, and the broader global conditions of COVID-19.

The fourth and most recent round of Navitas Agent Perception Research conducted in October 2021 captures the views and opinions of over 1,000 education agents in more than 70 countries on the impact of COVID-19 on international education.

Authored by Jon Chew, Head of Strategic Insights and Analytics at Navitas, the first article in the series reveals that Australia’s reputation as a study destination is at an all time low. The country has now lost whatever limited reputational advantages it enjoyed during COVID-19. Only a minority of agents (35%) perceive that Australia has a clear plan for the full recovery of international student arrivals, with Canada, the UK, and the US much further ahead at over 80%.
