Navitas is delighted to announce a ten-year renewal of its partnership agreement with Griffith University for Griffith College.
Navitas has partnered with Griffith University in Queensland since 1998 to deliver pathway programs through its on-campus college (Griffith College). Over more than two decades Griffith College has helped more than 25,000 students successfully transition to degree programs at the university. The college has grown significantly and now welcomes more than 2,000 students from 60 countries around the world to two Griffith University campuses, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
"Our strong partnership with Griffith University and the location of the college campuses means that students feel part of the university community from day one. We have a truly integrated approach which results in a seamless transition of students from the college to the university," said Scott Jones, CEO Navitas.
"Our collaborative response to the COVID-19 crisis and the launch of the digital campus has highlighted the strength of our relationship and the quality experience delivered to students. We look forward to another decade of partnership and innovation as we help establish Griffith University as one of the most global campuses in Australia."
"Our partnership with Griffith College is critical to Griffith University's commitment to providing access to higher education for both domestic and international students. The college offers an academic pathway into many of our degrees and ensures that a wide range of students have the opportunity to study on our campuses and then transition into their Griffith University program," said Professor Sarah Todd Vice President (Global) Griffith University.
"We are delighted that this important partnership has been renewed and look forward to working together to develop more innovative ways to support students around the world on their higher education journey."
Since opening in 1975, Griffith University has come to be regarded as one of Australia's most innovative and influential higher education institutions. Its degree programs are informed by leading research and delivered by some of Australia's most awarded teachers. Griffith received a five-star rating in the 2019 Good Universities Guide for Teaching Quality and Overall Student Experience and is one of Australia's most comprehensive research universities, with 59 fields of research rated at world standard or above. International university rankings consistently place the university in the world's top 300 institutions, signifying that Griffith offers a high quality learning experience and provides its students with a global perspective across the curriculum.
Leigh Pointon, Executive General Manager at Navitas, said, "The success of Griffith College is testament to the commitment and passion of our teachers and support staff, and the collaborative nature of our partnership with Griffith University. I am very proud of how much this partnership has been able to achieve and the value that we provide to each other as well as our students, as symbolised in a powerful new combined brand that we will be launching in our marketing."
