Western Sydney University International College strengthens partnerships in Kenya
Western Sydney University International College (International College) visited its valued partners in Nairobi and Eldoret, Kenya, this month. In collaboration with Western Sydney University, the team hosted an agent workshop attended by 30 agents.
This year’s workshop featured a demonstration class showcasing the practical value of the International College’s Business programmes. The marketing session focused on Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning, using Kenyan brands to bring key concepts to life. The session received positive feedback, demonstrating how the pathway programmes combine theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
For the first time, the team also engaged high school counsellors in Nairobi through a dedicated workshop tailored to the interests of high school students. Activities included a lively Australian trivia competition and an interactive product development exercise that challenged counsellors to create a new product for Coke.
The workshops offered agents and high school counsellors a closer look at how Western Sydney University International College brings learning to life, from applying business concepts to solving real-world challenges. The hands-on activities also gave them fresh perspectives to share with students exploring their university pathway options in Australia.
