UWC and UCIC host agent fam trip in New Zealand
Earlier this month, University of Waikato College (UWC) and UC International College (UCIC) hosted agent partners from Vietnam and Cambodia, alongside colleagues from Navitas, as part of a performance-based familiarisation trip. This initiative recognised the ongoing support, efforts, and achievements of key partners, who were invited to New Zealand as a gesture of appreciation.
During the visit, guests experienced some of the best attractions the Mighty Waikato region has to offer, including the Waitomo Caves, Kiwi Hatchery, and Marokopa Falls, as well as a guided tour of University of Waikato’s Hamilton campus. A key highlight for many was hearing directly from Vietnamese and Cambodian students about their experiences of living and studying in Hamilton. Students remain central to the Colleges’ approach, and their success in progressing into their chosen programs reflects the strength of the pathway support provided. The visit was further enhanced by favourable weather throughout.
In addition, UWC welcomed 10 agent partners from China as part of an Education New Zealand familiarisation visit. During their stay, the group also visited the Hamilton Night Market on campus with the Student Ambassador Isabella, gaining further insight into student life and the local community.
