UPIC Summer School 2026
Join University of Plymouth International College (UPIC) in summer 2026 for a unique study tour experience.
Designed for students aged 16 to 18 who are considering higher education in the UK, this program will take place from Wednesday, 22 July to Friday, 31 July 2026.
Provisional Itinerary:
Day 1 – Collection from Heathrow or Bristol Airport and settling into accommodation. Tour of the city and evening meal (Fish & Chips at Harbourside)
Day 2 – Welcome to the university and team-building activities. Visit to ‘Plymouth Box’ museum
Day 3 – Faculty of Science Day workshop experience at Wave Machine, TED Ex Workshops: developing your presentation skills
Day 4 –Activity Day – Explore Plymouth Marine Park by Kayak, Boat or Paddleboard. Those who would prefer not to take part in water sports can explore the South West Coastal Path to Bovisand Beach
Day 5 – School of Arts, Design & Architecture. ‘Design Your World’ workshop, exploring your inner designer at the Roland Levinsky Building. TED Ex Talks Pt2
Day 6 – Activity Day – Tintagel and Eden Project. Visit the mythological resting place of King Arthur and the Eden Project, the fantastic botanical garden and research space in a clay mine
Day 7 – Faculty of Health (TBC)
Day 8 – Activity Day (TBC)
Day 9 – Free time. Celebration evening meal at Plymouth Hoe Waterfront
Day 10 – Transport to the airport
The cost for each student will cover accommodation, airport transfers, meals and activities.
The program offers 36 beds available at Student Halls in Plymouth City Centre (close to campus). Groups and individuals are encouraged to submit their enquiries.
