Strengthening Adelaide’s university pipeline

Eynesbury College and SAIBT’s Marketing & Admissions team recently hosted Recruitment Managers from China and India for a week-long immersive experience that showcased the best of what Adelaide offers as a premier study destination.

With the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia merging in 2026 to become Adelaide University, this professional development opportunity provided Navitas’ in-country staff with valuable first-hand insights they can share with prospective students.

The visit strategically coincided with Study Adelaide’s 2025 Global Agent Famil, which brought more than 50 education agents from across North Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America to the city. The Eynesbury and SAIBT teams seized this perfect opportunity to establish valuable connections with Adelaide University’s staff and industry partners while exploring future Adelaide University campuses and key facilities.

Building connections, literally and figuratively

The week featured a dynamic mix of professional development and relationship-building activities that included:

  • hosting education agents and participating in a “pathway bridge building” workshop that literally and symbolically represented the connections being created between Navitas, Adelaide University, and its education agents
  • attending the prestigious Adelaide University Gala night, which showcased the institution’s excellence and vision
  • engaging with current students to hear authentic experiences about daily life and study in Adelaide
  • collaborating with future Adelaide University colleagues to align strategies and enhance partnerships

Strengthening the global team and recruitment to Adelaide University

This visit was particularly significant as it allowed Eynesbury and SAIBT’s in-country staff to meet face-to-face with Adelaide University teams, establishing personal connections that would enhance ongoing collaboration. These shared experiences created a stronger sense of unified purpose across global operations.

The international guests are now well acquainted with Eynesbury, SAIBT, and Adelaide University’s campuses, culture, and community—invaluable information as they guide students on their educational journey in Adelaide.
