New Master of Data Analytics launches at Western International College

Western International College (WesternIC) is pleased to announce the launch of the Master of Data Analytics (MDA) at the beginning of January 2027.

The MDA is a career-focused professional master’s program designed for students who want to build advanced skills in data analytics, artificial intelligence, statistical modelling, machine learning and applied business decision-making. It also includes a 4-month Experiential Learning Opportunity, giving students the chance to apply their skills in a real-world professional setting.

Students can choose from three specialty areas:

• Artificial Intelligence
• Finance, Banking and Insurance
• Generalist

The January 2027 launch will begin with the Advanced Graduate Pathway for the Artificial Intelligence specialty. MQP entry for all three specialty areas will begin in May 2027.

This is a strong new option for students with quantitative backgrounds in areas such as computer science, software engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics, actuarial science, economics, finance and related fields.
