Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying) is now available at Charles Sturt University Sydney
Charles Sturt University Sydney is proud to introduce the Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying) and the Graduate Certificate in Human Services at the North Sydney campus.
The new programs respond to increasing demand for qualified social workers and human services professionals across Australia. Charles Sturt University is recognised nationally for social work, with five-star ratings for educational experience and postgraduate salaries, and number one rankings for employment outcomes.
This Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying) course is provisionally accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers and recognised internationally. The Graduate Certificate in Human Services will serve as a pathway option for eligible students who require additional prerequisite study.
The Good Universities Guide 2025/2026 ranks Charles Sturt University number one in Australia for social work postgraduate employment outcomes, with 94 per cent of graduates employed within four months.
Scholarships of up to 50 per cent, including a 35 per cent Launch Scholarship, will be available, with the first cohort commencing in July 2026.
