Making memories at ICP Summer School

Last month, International College Portsmouth (ICP) was delighted to welcome students to its Summer School, giving them the opportunity to experience life in Portsmouth while improving their English in one of the UK’s sunniest weeks of the year!

To make the experience even more memorable, each student arrived with a T-shirt and tote bag featuring a special Portsmouth-inspired logo that they had designed themselves before arriving. Seeing their own creative designs proudly worn throughout the week gave everyone a real sense of belonging and made for a fantastic keepsake of their time with us.

Each morning, students developed their English language skills in the classroom before heading out to enjoy a packed program of activities and cultural experiences. From art workshops and a visit to the iconic Spinnaker Tower, to afternoon tea, golf, city tours, bowling and movie nights, every day brought new opportunities to learn, make friends and create lasting memories.

One of the biggest highlights came as our Summer School coincided with the University of Portsmouth graduation ceremonies. Students had the chance to speak with graduating students about their journeys, achievements and future ambitions. Hearing these inspiring stories gave the Summer School students a glimpse of what could be their own future, leaving them with stars in their eyes and even greater excitement about returning to Portsmouth as full-time students next year.

ICP extends its sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the week such a memorable success and looks forward to welcoming another fantastic group of students to Portsmouth for its next Summer School.
