La Trobe University Sydney Campus Agent Retreat and Postgraduate Course Launch

Last month, La Trobe University Sydney Campus successfully hosted its Agent Retreat and Postgraduate Course Launch at the picturesque Heritage Resort in Bangladesh, approximately two hours from Dhaka CBD. The event was led by Bipin Kunwar, Student Recruitment Manager at La Trobe University Sydney Campus, with the support of Abu Salehin, Australasia Student Recruitment Manager and Jubayar Alam, Student Recruitment Officer at Navitas Bangladesh.

The day began with an early morning departure from Gulshan, Dhaka, followed by breakfast and networking upon arrival at the resort. Agents then participated in a series of interactive learning sessions and team-building activities.

The formal program commenced at noon with a comprehensive presentation on La Trobe University Sydney Campus’ postgraduate programs. Agents received detailed information on available courses, key selling points, career outcomes, admission pathways, and the benefits of studying at the Sydney Campus. A lively Q&A session followed, allowing participants to gain deeper insights into the programs. To reinforce learning, agents also participated in a fun and engaging quiz.

After a traditional Bangladeshi lunch, the afternoon workshop focused on effective student recruitment and strategies. Working in teams, agents tackled real-world recruitment scenarios and presented their marketing and counselling approaches. A creative bridge-building challenge using marshmallows and sticks further encouraged teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving.

Outstanding participants received special prizes, while all attendees were presented with Certificates of Appreciation recognising their continued partnership and support. The day concluded with recreational activities including football, cycling, swimming, and informal networking.

The retreat strengthened relationships with agent partners, enhanced their understanding of La Trobe University Sydney Campus’ postgraduate offerings, and reinforced a shared commitment to student success across Bangladesh.
