Kicking off the school year in Dubai with future-ready skills

Murdoch University Dubai commenced its first school engagement of the new academic year at GEMS Our Own English High School – Dubai, marking a positive start to the year ahead.

The session focused on personal branding, digital footprint and interview skills, covering practical areas designed to help students prepare for university and, ultimately, the workplace. Students explored how the way they present themselves, both online and in person, can influence their personal brand and discussed ways they can begin building a strong professional presence while still at school.

Engaging a large group can present its own challenges, but the students demonstrated great enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to participate throughout the session.

Murdoch University Dubai extends its sincere thanks to Sudha Srivalsan, Arpita and the entire school teamfor their warm welcome and for providing the opportunity to support their students as they prepare for their next steps.
