Kenyan students explore global opportunities in sport in Manchester Metropolitan University International College

Manchester Metropolitan University International College welcomed 44 students from 28 schools across Kenya as part of the now annual Manchester Sport Tour.

For the second year running, the high school students visited the Manchester Met International College campus to explore opportunities to study sport in the UK. During the visit, the group took part in an interactive Sport Management World Cup session before exploring the Institute of Sport, renowned for its industry-leading facilities and partnerships.

The experience provided students with a fascinating insight into the diverse career opportunities available across the sport industry. Highlights included analysing a real football match using professional performance analysis software and participating in sports science testing to measure reaction speed, jump height and more.

Manchester Metropolitan University International College looks forward to continuing its partnership with Brookhouse School who led the visit and welcoming more students to campus in the future.
