ICRGU Schools Hackathon 2026

International College Robert Gordon University (ICRGU) is excited to launch the ICRGU Hackathon 2026, a week-long virtual programme for students aged 16 to 18, taking place from 5 to 9 October 2026.

The hackathon will introduce participants to the exciting fields of video game design and artificial intelligence while helping them develop valuable skills in creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and innovation. Throughout the week, students will participate in a series of interactive online sessions led by university staff, industry professionals, and student ambassadors, working collaboratively to develop innovative ideas before presenting their projects at the conclusion of the program.

Designed to be accessible to students of all experience levels, the hackathon provides an excellent enrichment opportunity for those considering future study in technology, computing, digital media, engineering, or other innovation-focused disciplines. Participants will gain valuable exposure to emerging technologies while connecting with the ICRGU and Robert Gordon University community in a fun, collaborative, and inspiring learning environment.
