Hana sets up the Navitas Counsellor Advisory Board in Indonesia
Navitas School and Government Liaison Manager (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei), Hana Hassan, spent her Ramadan meeting with school counsellors in Jakarta and Surabaya over dinner. During these gatherings, she established the Navitas Counsellor Advisory Board, bringing together a select group of forward-thinking counsellors from across Southeast Asia.
The purpose of this initiative is to create a space where counsellors can exchange best practices, discuss emerging student trends and collaboratively explore ways to support students better as they navigate international education pathways.
Hana and the counsellors discussed the challenges students face today, from growing reliance on ChatGPT to navigating parental expectations in a competitive environment. She took this opportunity to share how Navitas university partners, such as BCUIC, ICP, ICRGU, and UPIC, are offering both online and face-to-face summer school experiences. They are designed not just to prepare students academically but also to help them develop the skills and mindset needed to thrive at university and beyond.
Hana would also like to give a special shoutout to Almyra Moeslim from Sekolah Alam Insan Mulia for winning the top prize in the ICP Mascot Competition. Congratulations on this fantastic achievement. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Mr Rangga for the incredible support of this initiative and for encouraging student creativity and participation.
Schools interested in learning more about how Navitas can help strengthen their university profile and support students in their transition to university are encouraged to reach out to Hana for more information.
