From ICP to Project Manager in London: Tadiwa’s success story

Portsmouth is in graduation season, and nothing brings more joy than reconnecting with former students and hearing how far they’ve come.

International College Portsmouth (ICP) is thrilled to catch up with its former graduate Tadiwa, who joined ICP in 2015 and completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Portsmouth.

Tadiwa is now a Project Manager at AtkinsRéalis in London, a role he credits to the solid foundation he built during his time at ICP.

He chose ICP for the smooth transition into the UK university life and praised the supportive staff, helpful orientation, and the welcoming nature of both the city and campus. His time at ICP not only helped him gain essential academic and professional skills — from public speaking to time management — but also boosted his confidence and adaptability.

Reflecting on Tadiwa’s successful journey, he described his experience in Portsmouth as exciting, challenging, and rewarding. He advises new students: “Take advantage of every opportunity, ask for help when you need it, and make friends from different backgrounds — it will enrich your experience.”
