Brunel University of London Pathway College launches Gateway to Medicine Foundation Programme

Brunel University of London Pathway College is excited to launch the Gateway to Medicine Foundation Programme (MBBS), with the first intake commencing in September 2026.

Designed for ambitious international students, the one-year foundation programme provides a pathway to the 5-Year MBBS Medicine degree at Brunel University of London, subject to meeting the progression requirements.

The programme equips students with the scientific knowledge, clinical skills, and professional confidence needed for medical study. Students will study core modules including Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics for Medicine, Professional Skills in Healthcare, Research Methods, and Interactive Learning Skills. The curriculum also includes clinical skills laboratory visits, progression interview preparation, and mock interview support.

From their first day of study, students will receive university status, full access to campus facilities, and the benefit of a Joint CAS, allowing them to complete their pathway under a single visa journey. The programme also offers flexible progression opportunities into other health-related degree programmes.

To progress to Brunel University’s 5-Year MBBS Medicine programme, students must achieve a minimum Grade B (63%) in every core module, pass the compulsory Progression Interview, and demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 7.0.

Applications are now open for the September 2026 intake. Agents are encouraged to identify suitable students with strong backgrounds in Mathematics and Chemistry who aspire to pursue a career in medicine.
