BCUIC launches new International Year One in Computing for January 2026
Birmingham City University International College (BCUIC) is excited to announce the launch of its new International Year One (IYO) pathway in Computing, starting in January 2026. This fast-tracks program offers students an accelerated and rewarding route into one of the UK’s most dynamic fields.
Through the International Year One, students can:
- Complete their first year in just six months and progress directly to the second year at Birmingham City University in September 2026
- Specialise in one of two cutting-edge degrees:
- BSc (Hons) Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence
- BSc (Hons) Cyber Security
- Gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies and professional facilities, supported by the University’s strong industry partnerships with Cisco, Microsoft, and Oracle
- Benefit from partial scholarships, with savings of up to £4,565
This new pathway is designed to help students build advanced technical skills, accelerate their studies, and launch their careers in the global tech industry.
