ARU College celebrates the 2024 Star Awards

On Tuesday April 16 2024, ARU College came together for a night of celebration at its campuses in Cambridge and Chelmsford. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as the college gathered to honour the deserving winners of the Star Awards.

The purpose of the Star Awards is to recognise the exceptional accomplishments of both ARU College students and teachers. The recipients were nominated by their teachers or students for various categories. Additionally, the college had the privilege of showcasing some incredible artwork from its talented Art Foundation Year students during the drink’s reception.

The ceremony was hosted in Cambridge and live-streamed to ARU College team and students in Chelmsford, allowing everyone to join in the celebration.

  • Teachers’ Teacher Award for Cambridge – Winner: Anne-Louise Russell
  • Teachers’ Teacher Award for Chelmsford – Winner: Chinchu Babu
  • Students’ Teacher Award for Cambridge – Winner: Hilary Conlan & Rena Kydd
  • Students’ Teacher Award for Chelmsford – Winner: Danielle Doyle & Sharon Julius
  • Outstanding Contribution Awards – Winners: Emilia Carey, Kevan Murphy, Gurbinder Panesar & Joanna Willis
  • ARU College Community Award – Winner: Lucy Mazur
  • ARU College Spirit Award – Winner: Paul Pattison
