Announcing new leadership appointments in UPNA
Darcy Rollins becomes Head of Division for UPNA

Darcy has spent more than two decades building a career at the intersection of international education and government. His journey began in Manitoba, where he worked with the province’s International Education Branch before becoming its Director. There, he helped develop Canada’s first pan-Canadian education brand and contributed to federal–provincial initiatives, including immigration policy reform.
Darcy joined Navitas in 2016 as College Director and Principal of the International College of Manitoba (ICM), where he guided the college through a period of growth and impact. He later took on the role of Chief Operating Officer for UPNA, overseeing operations across Canada and the U.S. and helping establish new university partnerships.
Now, as Head of Division, Darcy will continue to shape UPNA’s strategic direction and strengthen partnerships that create new opportunities for students across North America.
Sharla Reid becomes Vice President, Students and Academic Success

Sharla has dedicated her career to advancing international education and creating meaningful student experiences. Currently serving as College Director and Principal of Fraser International College (FIC) at Simon Fraser University and interim College Director and Principal of ULethbridge International College Calgary (UICC), she brings a wealth of experience to her new role as Vice President, Students and Academic Success.
At Fraser International College, Sharla built a thriving student leadership community and spearheaded award-winning support programs. She has also partnered closely with faculty and institutions to design targeted initiatives that strengthen student outcomes.
Beyond her campus leadership, Sharla is an active voice in the international education community, presenting at conferences such as NAFSA: Association of International Educators, the Canadian Association of College and University Student Services, First-Year Education, and the Canadian Bureau of International Education. In her new role, Sharla will continue to drive initiatives that place student success at the heart of UPNA’s work.
