A fantastic start to the semester: three weeks of induction at ICP!
The first three weeks of teaching at International College Portsmouth (ICP) have been filled with exciting activities, opportunities to connect and plenty of fun! The induction programme was designed to help students settle into college life, get to know the ICP team, explore the support available to them and begin building friendships that will last throughout their studies.
From campus tours and meeting the ICP team to finding out how to join the Student Council, students had plenty of opportunities to get involved and make the most of their new surroundings. They also explored important topics such as health and wellbeing, financial management and employability, helping them feel informed, supported and ready for the journey ahead.
There was plenty of time for fun and creativity, too. Students enjoyed a movie night complete with pizza, a sports evening, Crafty Monday, and a book swap. These activities offered a great way to relax, try something new, and connect with fellow students outside the classroom.
The induction period wrapped up with the ICP Welcome Party, bringing students together for an evening of pizza, games, laughter and new friendships.
It has been incredible to see so many students getting involved, embracing new experiences, and making the most of everything ICP has to offer. Here’s to a fantastic semester ahead, full of new opportunities, friendships, and success at ICP!
