Curtin and Navitas support the next generation of female athletes in Kenya

Curtin College and Curtin University, in partnership with Navitas, proudly sponsored the Brookhouse School Girls’ Football Tournament held in Nairobi, Kenya, on Saturday, 7 February.

The tournament brought together talented young female athletes from 11 schools, creating a vibrant and competitive environment that celebrated teamwork, determination and the continued growth of girls’ sport in East Africa. Throughout the day, teams demonstrated impressive skill, resilience and sportsmanship, highlighting the increasing opportunities for young women in sport across the region.

The event concluded with Crawford International School Kenya, emerging as the tournament champions. All participating teams were recognised for their outstanding spirit and commitment to the game, which contributed to a memorable and inspiring day for players, coaches, and supporters alike.

By supporting this event, Curtin College, Curtin University and Navitas reaffirmed their shared commitment to empowering young women, encouraging leadership and expanding opportunities for global education pathways. Community initiatives such as the Brookhouse Girls’ Football Tournament play an important role in building confidence, fostering teamwork, and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
