Queens College makes history as the first CUNY featured on “The College Tour”

Queens College (QC) of the City University of New York (CUNY) is showcased in season 15 of “The College Tour”, now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the first-ever CUNY school to be featured.

The award-winning series introduces viewers to colleges and universities around the world through student narratives, offering an intimate portrayal of campus life to help young adults make informed decisions about higher education. Filmed on campus this past spring, the QC episode, presented by reality television star Desi Williams, features 10 students who share their personal experience with academics and campus life, including housing, sports, and activities.

“The College Tour” was created by Emmy-nominated producers Alex Boylan and Lisa Hennessy. Boylan is also known as the winner of “The Amazing Race” series.

Adding to this recognition, Queens College was also recently recognised for its impressive value for students, ranked No. 6 Best Value College Nationwide by the Wall Street Journal in 2026.
