“I think the thing that I value the most (about working for Navitas) is being part of a global network or ecosystem of people and stakeholders… I personally find it really motivating, and you feel like you’re part of something much bigger, and I think that’s what keeps me going day-to-day.”
Transcript
My name is Steve Hird, I’m the General Manager for Marketing and Recruitment for South Asia.
I had no idea about the world of international education or Navitas or what they did, and I think it sounds quite cheesy, but from day one I was quite hooked on what Navitas does and the world of international education.
I worked for a couple of other education providers and then a role came up with Navitas in the UK at one of our university partners, one of our colleges. So I took that role, it was a student recruitment coordinator role, and then it was with Navitas that I actually moved from the UK to India to New Delhi where I now live – and I’ve lived for the last seven years.
I think the thing that I value the most is being part of a global network or like ecosystem of people and stakeholders. We have our colleges, our university partners, our regional offices, our agents, and other partners. So just feeling part of like this global network, I personally find it really motivating and you feel like you’re part of something much bigger, and I think that’s what keeps me going day-to-day.
