ICRGU Virtual Hackathon 2025: highlights reel now live

ICRGU is delighted to share the official highlights reel from the first-ever Virtual Hackathon! Take an exclusive look at the video to see its Simu live sessions, behind-the-scenes moments, and the impressive projects submitted by the winning teams.

All students involved in the hackathon demonstrated energy, ambition, and a passion for STEM. The quality of ideas and the use of tech to address sustainability challenges were truly inspiring.

This year’s event was just the beginning. All participants have been offered a £1,000 STEM scholarship to study at ICRGU, alongside an invitation to attend the Summer School 2026. This experience will coincide with the in-person Robert Gordon University hackathon on campus. It’ll also give students the chance to experience university life in Aberdeen.
