Navitas’ SAE Institute and GLS University launch India’s first Global B.Design (Hons.) in Animation & VFX and Game Development
SAE Institute, part of the Navitas Careers and Industry Division, has announced a landmark partnership with GLS University in Ahmedabad to deliver India’s first and only Global B.Design (Hons.) Programme in Animation and VFX and Game Development.
The collaboration marks the launch of SAE Institute in India. As a global leader in creative media and technology education, this strategic partnership brings internationally benchmarked creative media education to one of India’s most dynamic and rapidly evolving industries.
The programme was formally launched at a signing ceremony on 8 December 2025, attended by senior leaders from GLS University and Navitas.
A first of its kind programme for India
The four-year Global B.Design (Hons.) Programme combines the academic excellence of GLS University with SAE Institute’s world leading, project-based learning model. As the first authorised campus in India to offer SAE’s curriculum and international certification, GLS University will provide students with access to globally recognised training, industry standard technology, and a worldwide network of creative professionals.
Students will graduate with an SAE Institute qualification, accredited and awarded as a B.Design (Hons.) by GLS University. This internationally recognised certification greatly enhances global career mobility and job prospects.
The programme also provides opportunities for international immersion, student exchange, industry collaboration, and pathways into global creative careers.
