ACAP University College Expands GDLP into New South Wales
ACAP University College (ACAP) is pleased to announce the expansion of its Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (GDLP) into New South Wales (NSW) from March 2026, an important next step in growing its national legal education offering.
The GDLP has been operated successfully in Victoria for nearly three years, delivering strong outcomes and positive industry feedback. Building on this foundation, the NSW program has been newly developed to meet the requirements of the NSW Legal Profession Admission Board. From January 2026, students must attend 15 days of in-person tuition delivered across a series of intensives, as required by the NSW Legal Profession Admission Board.
Delivered through a blended model, the NSW GDLP will combine online coursework with in-person workshops at ACAP’s Sydney campus. Students will progress through core professional skills and key practice areas, with added flexibility through a range of electives and supported workplace experience facilitated through ACAP’s employer network.
This expansion represents a significant milestone for ACAP, strengthening its presence in the legal education sector and responding to growing demand for practical, flexible pathways into the profession. It also reflects the strong collaboration across ACAP’s academic, accreditation and operational teams in bringing this program to life.
ACAP University College looks forward to welcoming its first NSW GDLP students in March 2026.
