Murdoch University Dubai welcomes its new Dean and Academic President

Murdoch University Dubai is pleased to share that Professor Michael Gallimore has been appointed as its Dean and Academic President.

Professor Gallimore brings nearly 30 years of higher education leadership experience, including developing two university campuses across the GCC region and establishing a School of Engineering in the UK. Most recently, he served as Head of De Montfort University Dubai, leading initiatives that enhanced teaching quality, research output, and institutional engagement.

Known for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to staff welfare and student success, Professor Gallimore is well-positioned to guide Murdoch University Dubai through the next phase of growth and innovation.
