ICRGU Virtual Hackathon 2025
The ICRGU Hackathon brought together young innovators from Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Singapore, Brunei, Mozambique, and Ecuador. This year’s challenge invited high school teams to create a tech-based solution to help a local charity achieve its sustainability goals. From AI-powered apps to community-driven digital platforms, students impressed the judges with creativity and purpose-driven ideas!
Over five days, participants joined Simulive sessions and live mentor drop-in sessions via the Zoom Events platform. ICRGU received 14 final team projects in total, with a 2-minute video for each entry, showcasing outstanding originality and technical skill.
Stay tuned for the announcement of the 2025 winners! The top teams will receive an exciting tech prize for their school, along with exclusive STEM scholarships from Robert Gordon University’s School of Computing, Engineering and Technology.
