La Trobe University Sydney Campus: engaging with global partners, innovators, and industry for student success

There is always a lot happening at La Trobe University Sydney Campus (the Sydney Campus). As the final quarter of 2025 begins, the campus continues to build momentum through meaningful industry engagement, global partnerships, and student success stories. The following highlights showcase recent achievements:

Welcoming Mr Alatassi from the KSA Ministry of Health

La Trobe University Sydney Campus was honoured to welcome Mr Alatassi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health for an official campus visit. His presence reflects the growing international recognition of the Sydney Campus’ academic excellence and global relevance in health education, particularly as it prepares to launch the Master of Public Health in July 2026. The visit included discussions focused on future collaboration opportunities and pathways for students from the Kingdom.

SXSW Sydney: Innovation Meets Education

In a dynamic collaboration with The Big LEAP Accelerator, the Sydney Campus co-hosted a vibrant networking event as part of SXSW Sydney. The event brought together entrepreneurs, students, and industry leaders to explore the intersection of education, innovation, and startup culture. It provided an excellent platform for students to engage with industry innovators, share ideas, and gain valuable insights into emerging career opportunities.

Summer Internships: Learning Beyond the Classroom

This upcoming summer, students from La Trobe University Sydney Campus will participate in internships with local technology and marketing companies. These placements offer students the chance to apply their academic learning in real-world settings, build professional networks, and enhance their employability through hands-on experience. The campus is proud to see its students thriving in Sydney’s vibrant business ecosystem and transforming their classroom learning into meaningful professional growth.
