ECC builds leadership through connection and creativity

At Edith Cowan College (ECC), leadership development goes far beyond meetings and written plans. It thrives through meaningful connections, creativity and thoughtful reflection.

This month, ECC student leaders took time away from their regular responsibilities to unwind, explore art, and strengthen peer connections in a relaxed and supportive setting. Opportunities like these are essential in helping students develop empathy, build resilience, and embrace a more human-centred approach to leadership.

The college was also thrilled to welcome back three ECC alumni, now studying at Edith Cowan University. Their ongoing involvement is a testament to the strong, lasting community ECC aims to build across every stage of the student journey.

Adding to the sense of connection and celebration, ECC also marked the birthday of one of its student leaders, bringing the team together in a warm and supportive environment.

ECC extends its gratitude to StudyPerth, Western Australia, for providing such an inspiring and welcoming space, and to Lilly Fang from ECC for her efforts in organising this enriching experience.

Through initiatives like these, Edith Cowan College continues to champion emerging leaders who think critically, care deeply, and lead with empathy and compassion.
