A tremendous milestone unlocked: TMUIC’s first graduating cohort

This summer, Toronto Metropolitan University International College (TMUIC) proudly marked a historic milestone with the graduation of its very first cohort from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU).

To celebrate the occasion, a gathering was held at the University Club of Toronto, where graduates and their families joined TMU and TMUIC staff, as well as faculty, for an afternoon filled with connection and celebration. Over canapés and drinks, guests reminisced about shared experiences, reflected on achievements, and looked ahead to exciting futures. The atmosphere was one of warmth, joy, and unforgettable memories.

From attending TMUIC’s very first online classes during the pandemic to walking across the graduation stage at TMU, these graduates have come full circle—showcasing the power of passion, resilience, and perseverance. Looking forward, TMUIC is also preparing to celebrate another milestone: the 5th anniversary with TMU in 2026.
