Investor Week and graduation ceremony highlight at La Trobe University Sydney Campus

August was a significant month at La Trobe University Sydney Campus (The Sydney Campus), marked by a series of impactful events.

Early in the month, the Sydney Campus hosted Investor Week, which commenced with Angel Night and culminated in the Startup World Cup Sydney. The event provided a valuable platform for students, staff, founders, investors, and ecosystem partners to engage and network, while showcasing five compelling pitches from startup founders seeking investment opportunities.

On 13 August, La Trobe University held the Sydney Graduation Ceremony with a full house. Graduates were formally recognised as they crossed the stage in the presence of their families and friends, signifying an important milestone in their academic and career journey. For those whose families couldn’t attend in person, the event was livestreamed—bringing the celebration to loved ones around the world.
