As schools across the UAE welcomed students back to campus, Murdoch University Dubai was delighted to reconnect with high school communities through a series of engaging, face-to-face workshops and presentations. These interactions provided valuable opportunities to inspire students, explore future career pathways, and equip them with practical skills for success in higher education and beyond.
Over the past weeks, the university team delivered Career Discovery and Future Trends Workshops alongside University Preparedness Sessions at The Westminster School, GEMS Cambridge International School Abu Dhabi, and Scholars International Academy. These sessions encouraged students to reflect on their interests, strengths, and aspirations while exploring emerging industries, evolving workplace trends, and the skills required to thrive in an increasingly dynamic world. Students also gained practical insights into preparing for university life, including making informed academic choices, developing future-ready competencies, and navigating the transition from school to higher education with confidence. In addition, the team had the privilege of facilitating an Effective Leadership and Communication workshop at Al Diyafah High School. The session focused on developing leadership mindsets, communication strategies, teamwork, and personal influence, essential qualities for young people preparing to become the leaders of tomorrow.
