Savouring multicultural Perth: A Northbridge food journey
Edith Cowan College (ECC) students headed to Northbridge for a delicious adventure, exploring the incredible variety of food Perth has to offer. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, Northbridge is the perfect place to experience the city’s multicultural spirit through cuisine.
The group sampled a range of international flavours, starting with authentic Vietnamese dishes packed with fresh herbs and bold flavours. They then indulged in popular Korean desserts, enjoying sweet treats that are both visually stunning and delicious. No food journey would be complete without trying Portugal’s famous custard tarts—crispy, creamy, and irresistible. To top it all off, students refreshed themselves with bubble tea, a global favourite with endless flavour combinations.
This outing highlighted how diverse Perth’s food scene is. From Asian street food to European pastries and modern fusion drinks, students can truly find something from every corner of the world. Experiences like this not only satisfy taste buds but also give students a deeper appreciation of different cultures in a fun and engaging way.
This food journey is part of the Discover Perth Through Students’ Eyes project, proudly sponsored by StudyPerth, giving students meaningful ways to explore local culture beyond the classroom.
