Navitas’ Stewart Brougham appointed Chair of Christchurch Educated, NZ

Comprising a group of education industry executives, Christchurch Educated members share a common set of values and goals for developing and growing the International Education sector in Christchurch.
Brougham’s 10-year history working within New Zealand’s international education industry combines experience that spans both the private and public sectors - having been involved in tertiary education for over 20 years teaching in both New Zealand and Scotland.
A regular presenter at international conferences in New Zealand and overseas, the Navitas executive is particularly recognised for his expertise in transnational education, while being widely respected for his wealth of knowledge in the education sector, and his strategic approach to establishing Christchurch as an education destination.
Christchurch Educated, Programme Manager for International Education, Bree Loverich said, “The board is delighted to have appointed Stewart as the new Chairman and is looking forward to working with him to tackle the challenges and changes ahead.”
Brougham said, “I am very pleased to be asked to take on this role and support Board members. This is a pivotal time for international education in New Zealand and it is more important than ever that we have a unified and consistent approach to support and grow Christchurch and make the most of current opportunities.”
