Global education services provider Navitas Limited (ASX: NVT) is pleased to announce that it has renewed its agreement with Deakin University for pathway programs at Deakin College, until 31 December 2027.
Navitas' partnership with Deakin University is one of its most successful, commencing in 1996 and progressing more than 19,000 students to the University over that time. The college was founded as MIBT but was rebranded to Deakin College in 2015.
Deakin College offers a wide range of programs in Commerce, Computing, Engineering, Health Sciences, Management, Media and Communications and Science to international and domestic students who can then qualify for direct entry into the second year of Deakin University's programs. Deakin also offers Masters qualifying programs in Business, Engineering and Information Technology.
"I am very pleased to be extending our partnership with Deakin University as we enter our third decade of working together to support more students to succeed at the university," said Rod Jones, Group CEO of Navitas.
"A lot of things have changed over that time but our joint commitment to academic outcomes and student experience has remained steadfast and delivered significant value to students, the university and Navitas."
"For 20 years the partnership with Navitas has been very important for Deakin University, and it remains so as we move to the next stage of our relationship. The Deakin College pathway and the quality of the student experience Deakin College continues to deliver is highly valued by both international and domestic students," said Jane den Hollander, ViceChancellor of Deakin University.
"Deakin College graduates receive the very best preparation for a successful university career and I am delighted to be renewing this relationship with a trusted partner that remains responsive to the challenges of the times, delivering optimum outcomes for our students."
