Navitas Ventures supports European innovation at EdTechXEurope
23rd Jun, 2017 Feature story:
Navitas Ventures will this week engage with leading investors, innovators and industry influencers in European edtech at the 2017 EdTechXEurope summit in London, United Kingdom.
Navitas Ventures will meet emerging edtech startups, hear from leaders on emerging trends and innovation in education across Europe and have the opportunity to share their own insights from Project Landscape, which maps the global edtech ecosystem.
Patrick Brothers, CEO of Navitas Ventures and Navitas’ Chief Development Officer, said the partnership with EdTechXEurope will also help build awareness of the Global EdTech Census across Europe, an independent initiative aimed at identifying over 30,000 innovative education companies from around the world.
“Many of the world’s most powerful education innovations are emerging from Europe, so we are excited to use this opportunity to meet more entrepreneurs, discover insights and receive intelligence from these leading founders, educators and investors,” Patrick said.
“Equally, as part of a global learning organisation with teams in over 50 cities around the world, we are also excited to share some of our own insights, including findings from our recent edtech mission to the United States and our ongoing work mapping the global edtech landscape.”
As the Global Ecosystem Partner at the conference, Navitas Ventures will join over 850 attendees and 150 speakers showcasing edtech innovations and perspectives from around the world. Navitas Ventures, the education venturing arm of Navitas, was established to incubate, invest and build partnerships to accelerate the future of education innovation and Europe is a major focus.
